Arenal in a Day: Bridges and Thermal Water.
Arenal is worth the drive, and with private transport it’s a full day trip from Guanacaste, about 12 hours door to door.
The main event is a 3.2 km trail designed for the whole family: safe, comfortable walking, with almost no difficulty. Along the way you’ll cross six hanging bridges and ten fixed bridges, each opening a new perspective on the forest around and beneath you.
Afterwards we visit Baldi, known as the world’s largest thermal resort, with 25 thermal pools set in the rainforest, fed by crystalline waterfalls. Lunch is included.

We visit a resort with 25 thermal water pools amidst the tropical rainforest, these thermal water swimming pools are filled by crystalline waterfalls, for the use and enjoyment of all visitors. The purity of the water will make you feel like you are floating in an oasis of healing, with birds singing all around and the sound of falling water that invites you to relax and recover your wellness and quality of life.

About 12 hours door to door. This is a long day, since Arenal is a significant drive from Guanacaste.
How far is it from my hotel?
Travel time depends on where you are staying. As a general guide from Liberia: around 1 hour to hotels in Liberia itself, 1 hour 15 minutes to the Papagayo area (El Coco, Ocotal, Playa Hermosa), 1 hour 45 minutes to Flamingo, Conchal and Brasilito, and about 2 hours to Tamarindo. We confirm your exact pickup time when you book.

Moderate. The 3.2 km hanging bridges trail is family-friendly and mostly flat.

What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 5 days before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations made 3 to 4 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 3 days before the tour are non-refundable.
