Oropéndola Waterfall plunges 25 metres (82 ft) into a sparkling turquoise pool, in a canyon along the Río Blanco that’s perfect for a swim.
Then, surrounded by dense dry tropical forest, the Termales de Río Negro: ten pools built along the riverbank, filled with mineral-rich water heated deep inside the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.
Lunch is a buffet with so many options.

How much is the tour?
$150 per adult, $140 per child (ages 10 and under).
What is the length of the tour?
About 6.5 hours, from 7:30 am to approximately 2:00 pm. This is our half-day option.
How far is it from my hotel?
Travel time depends on where you are staying. As a general guide from Liberia: around 1 hour to hotels in Liberia itself, 1 hour 15 minutes to the Papagayo area (El Coco, Ocotal, Playa Hermosa), 1 hour 45 minutes to Flamingo, Conchal and Brasilito, and about 2 hours to Tamarindo. We confirm your exact pickup time when you book.
What is the difficulty level?
Easy. There is no volcano hike on this tour, just short walks to the waterfall and the hot springs.
Is lunch included?
Yes, a buffet lunch is included.
What is the minimum age for the tour?
5 years old.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 5 days before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations made 3 to 4 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 3 days before the tour are non-refundable.
